The Regulative Principle of Worship
"And in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Matthew 15:9
The RPW is the doctrine that God has commanded us
how to worship Him in His Word.
We are not free to add to or subtract from those commands.
In the RPW our consciences are set free
from the preferences and traditions of men
so that we can offer our sacrifices of praise without reservation.
