Regulative Principle of Worship
"And in vain they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men."
Matthew 15:9
The RPW is the doctrine that God has commanded us
how to worship Him in His Word.
We are not free to add to or subtract from those commands.
In the RPW our consciences are set free
from the preferences and traditions of men
so that we can offer our sacrifices of praise without reservation.​
How do you know anything?
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Scripturalism is the doctrine that the Bible alone is the written Word of God,
and as such, it is our only source for Truth,
the only authority in the church,
and our only rule for faith and life.
